Nakita Nia provides a variety of services from music performances at events, weddings, functions, and art exhibitions to teaching music through her private business, Nia’s Music, and Art School.
Nia also provides photography services for event hires and special occasions. Her photographs are also purchased for wall art prints and posters.

My name is Nakita Nia
Nakita Nia is an Australian musician and educator born in Mackay, Queensland.
​
Nakita moved to Darwin, Northern Territory at a young age and considers Darwin home.
​
After graduating high school, Nakita spent six years in Melbourne studying for a Bachelor of Arts Music degree in violin and singing at the College of Arts (Collarts). After graduating with her BA, Nakita went on to study a double master’s in Primary and Secondary Education specialising in Music at Monash University.
​
While studying, Nakita received two music scholarships: a violin grant and a scholarship for teaching music internationally. Nakita has represented her university by participating in the Monash Philharmonic Orchestra and working with Monash Sports, teaching swimming to culturally and linguistically diverse students (CALD).​
​
Nakita resides in Darwin, Northern Territory and is currently a member of the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. Nakita also has her own music business teaching – Nakita Nia Music and Art School.
